Our plan for Alsager is one that aims to tackle the biggest issues for residents in the town but also one to help build a better and brighter future for Alsager. Take a look at the summary of our plan for Alsager below:

Alsager Labour’s Plan for Alsager:

• Infrastructure for Alsager: We will fight for better infrastructure for Alsager, including working to bring investment in our local services, public transport, parks & roads. We will also ensure that the Council’s highways contractor is held accountable.
• Protect Alsager: We will protect our local green spaces, fight against speculative developments, work to reduce anti-social behaviour, stop any future attempts at fracking in the area & oppose car parking charges.
• A Greener Alsager: We will work to tackle Climate Change, support new tree planting schemes, enhance our local environment, ensure the Council meets its carbon neutral target & we will work to make Alsager a carbon neutral pilot town.
• A Vibrant, Prosperous Alsager: We will support Alsager businesses & community groups to help keep our town vibrant & prosperous. We will also do as much as we can to help those struggling with the cost of living crisis & support plans for increased SEN provision, school breakfast clubs and better access to child mental health services.
• A Strong Voice for Alsager: We will provide strong representation for residents on Cheshire East Council, and always put residents first. We will be open and accessible by holding regular surgeries and work with fellow councillors to deliver for you.
