Labour’s team for Alsager offers the hard-work and dedication to be a strong voice for our community…

2019 is our chance to change Alsager. Your local Labour team have been voicing your concerns over decaying roads and pavements, more housing being built with no new facilities and traffic getting worse. The current Liberal Democrat and Conservative councillors have simply not delivered for the town. It is time for a change. Labour will speak up for Alsager and our voices will be heard. Alsager Labour demands an end to local planning that rides roughshod over our communities, whilst our infrastructure is crumbling.

Jo Dale is a former physiotherapist and has been a campaigner since she was 14. Jo has campaigned against cuts to public transport, development on Fanny’s Croft (greenbelt land), upholding the hunt ban & on the state of our roads and pavements. She now runs her own business which includes organising Alsager’s Olive & Stitch market. Jo also runs Alsager’s Monthly Gift.

Julia Hawkins is a maths teacher who formally worked for the NHS. She is a strong advocate for Alsager’s green spaces and is involved in local groups dedicated to protecting them for future generations. Julia has campaigned against cuts to public transport and campaigned for more investment in Alsager’s infrastructure and roads.

Michael Unett is a law student who is the current Chair of the Congleton Constituency Labour Party. Michael has campaigned across the Congleton Constituency in recent years. In Alsager, Michael stood for Alsager Town Council in January 2017 and has campaigned on numerous issues since, including campaigning for investment in our infrastructure, working to create a youth council for Alsager, campaigning against cuts to bus services, pushing for a new burial ground & many more.

Your local Labour candidates, Jo, Julia & Michael, will be a strong voice for Alsager residents at Cheshire East Council and are dedicated to bringing positive change to our community.
