Cuts & years of neglect have left our roads in a terrible state!

Following years of Tory under-investment, Alsager’s roads are in a terrible state.

Our members in Alsager & Sandbach have set up pothole reporting groups on Facebook which have quickly attracted hundreds of residents. We have also been asking questions at Town Council & Cheshire East meetings, demanding action. Embarrassed Tory councillors were forced to add an additional 2 million to the emergency road repair budget.

Alsager Labour will be adding to the pressure on Cheshire East Council to ensure Alsager gets its fair share of the budget.

The Facebook pothole group is called ‘Alsager & Surrounding Area Potholes’.
